The protagonist Dmitry Poshtarenko was born and raised on land filled with the remains of World War II soldiers. Since childhood, his every step seemed to echo with a faint cry for help from the other side of the earth. Several years of excavations rallied friends around Dmitry, together they raised hundreds of soldiers from oblivion. Their passion turned into an unexpected form – they began to create sculptures of forgotten soldiers. Their names, faces, bodies returned to them, some even met their relatives...

Konstantin Selin

was born in 1989 in Krasnoyarsk. For several years he worked as a film editor on television, at the same time he studied at the at the Faculty of Philology of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University. Graduated from the screenwriting workshop of French documentary filmmakers "SiberiaDOC" (workshop of Helene Chatelain, Christophe Postik, 2009) and St. Petersburg State University of Cinematography (workshop of Pavel Medvedev, 2015). Lives and works in St. Petersburg.
