Kurdish Lover (0+)

France, 2011, colour, 98 min.
Director: Clarisse Hahn
The Kurdish lover is Oktay, a man of Kurdish origin with whom I share my life. We have been drifting through a devastated region, brought to a standstill by war and economic misery, lost between tradition and modernity. This is also a land where paganism is still alive and where, every day, the magical world mingles with the most trivial. That is Kurdistan. How do people manage to co-exist in this place? That is the question asked by this film
