Andrea Roggon
was born on November 12, 1981, in Uberlingen, Germany. In 2001 she finished the Waldorfschule Bodensee with a university-entrance diploma. After several residences abroad she worked for more than one year as a camera assistant at the SWR TV Station and at Hartmut Schwenk production company in Stuttgart. From 2003 to 2010 she studied directing documentary films at the Filmacademy Baden-Wurttemberg. Due to a studentship from the Landesstiftung Baden-Wurttemberg Andrea Roggon was able to go to the EICTV in Cuba for one year in 2007. In summer 2010, she finished her studies with a degree in directing documentaries. Andrea Roggon now lives and works as a director in Stuttgart, Germany.
