Life in the world of classical dance demands particular concentration. Art can absorb you completely and alienate from people - there are good few examples of that kind. Ulyana has interrupted her dancing experiments at the peak of her career for her little daughter. Of course, child, a living God’s creature, is more important than anything created by human. Masha, her daughter, is growing up and Ulyana decides to come back to the stage. But art is very jealous. The ballet dancer has to take the all the steps to the mastership picks she once possessed.

Sergey Lando

graduated from Aviation and Engineering Institute in Ribinsk, Russia. In 1987 he graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) as film cameraman. Since 1987 he has been living and working in Saint-Petersburg. He worked as director of photography at “Lenfilm” Studio, as director and scriptwriter of documentary films, camera man for "Kultura” TV channel. He is an author and director of several documentary films shot at Saint-Petersburg Documentary Film Studio and author of several books.
Sergey is a member of Russian Filmmakers Union, Russian Guild of Film Cameramen, Member of Imago and Russian Guild of Non-Fiction Films.
