graduated from Leningrad State Institute of Culture in 1973 and Higher Filmmaking Courses in 1976 (workshop of L. Cristie). At present Zhanna is a scriptwriter, director and editor at St. Petersburg Documentary Studio. She is a member of Filmmakers' Union and winner of national and international festivals as best director.
