A documentary film about young Ayed who is the only field psychologist in northern Gaza. Every day, he goes on home visits in Jabaliya refugee camp. We follow Ayed and listen to his patients: children, young men and women with suicide thoughts, former Hamas militants. Outside, there is chaos, war and turmoil. A tragic and comic film from the «secret rooms» of Gaza filmed during two years, 2006-2008, when Gaza was isolated from the world.

Peå Holmquist
born 1947, is an independent filmmaker mostly working in the Middle East and in Europe. He has directed and produced more than 50 documentaries. Holmquist has co-directed several documentaries with Suzanne Khardalian, among them «The Lion from Gaza» (1996), «Her Armenian Prince» (1997), «From Opium to Chrysanthemum» (2000), «Where Lies My Victory» (2002) and «Bullshit» (2005).

is an independent filmmaker and journalist, born 1956. She studied journalism in Beirut and Paris and started to work with films in 1988. Khardalian has co-directed several documentaries with Peå Holmquist, among them «The Lion from Gaza» (1996), «Her Armenian Prince» (1997), «From Opium to Chrysanthemum» (2000), «Where Lies My Victory» (2002) and «Bullshit» (2005).
