«The Curtain» tells a story about a drama theatre in a small Ural town Irbit. Audience of the theatre consists of people who live in near-by villages. The film is about convergence of the town and village life. We can not separate them. There is the same mentality and the same problems of Russian reality on both sides of the curtains.

Vladimir Golovnev

was born in Omsk in 1982, graduated from the Omsk State University Вepartment of History and film directing department of the Independent Film and TV School «Internews». He is founder and director of «Igra» film studio in Omsk.
