was born in 1974 in Kamensk-Uralskiy (Sverdlovsk region). Graduated from Urals State University, Journalism department, in 1997. Starting from his third year of education he began to work with regional TV companies. Worked as an editor, special reporter, social and political broadcasting commentator, presenter. Started working on documentaries in 2004.
