Sand and Pebble (0+)

Russia, 2008, colour, 26 min.
Director: Aleksey Brazhnikov
This is a story of pensioner Galina Nikonova and the commune for homeless that she arranged in the village Lekhnavolok in Karelia. The film is about a remarkable manner people meet each other and then live together. Each member has a heavy fate riddled with events as a forehead with wrinkles but their qualities and character traits are totally different. It’s just a real life story squeezed into 26 minute narration.
