Let There Be Light! (0+)

Russia, 2003, colour, 26 min.
Director: Boris Karadzhev
Uncle Yasha (or more officially, Yakov Levitan) is without a doubt a historic figure who has gone down in history with projector on his shoulder. For more than 57(!) years he works as a light director at the Central Russian Documentary Film Studio. Multiple assignments have taken Levitan to many places to meet famous figures, including the state leaders from Stalin to Eltsin. He has “highlighted” the epoch as the light set by his projectors helped fix all major political events of the second half of the ХХ century.
