Komi-permyaks is a small tribe that lives in the woods of Northern Russia. A tree (in Komi language it is «puh») for them is the life’s basis. Komi-permyaks believe that the dead may punish living people for the inrespect they show to them. This belief is widely spread between the settlers of that region - it is one of the miracles in ancient legends.

Andrey Anchugov

graduated from Ural State University, journalism department. He worked as a journalist. Andrey Anchugov graduated from VGIK in 1993. He worked as film director and cameraman at Sverdlovsk film studio.
