The film tells about 36-hours-long trip from Berlin to Moscow. During this trip emigrants and those who are coming back home are trying to think about two worlds between which they turned to be: about Russia and Germany, about West and East, about new and old things. An interesting fact is that Aleksey Brandt was denied visa when he was going to shoot documentary film about Germans of Volga Region.
