Born in Israel to a Palestinian father and a Jewish mother, Mommy’s (Shlomo’s) family life is shattered when it is discovered that his father was behind dozens of mysterious terror attacks which shook Israel in the late 1960s. Fleeing with his mother and sister to Montreal’s Ultra-Orthodox community, Mommy struggles to unite his conflicting identities. A fascinating and deeply meaningful look at how a seemingly impossible struggle for identity leads one man to a truly compassionate embrace of humanity.
