graduated in 1981 from the Dnepropetrovsk Studio of Classical and Modern Dance under Honored Artist of the Ukraine. She graduated from MING named after Gubkin (Faculty of Economics), and then from VGIK (Script-Writing Faculty). The Afterburner film is her debut in directing.
