The ambivalent image of Nobel prize-winner, one of the greatest scientists of XXth century, is revealed in this film through the news-reel, unpublished documents and opinions of Russian and foreign scientists. Besides, the materials of the feature film «Ivan Pavlov’s life» are used in the film.
