Candidate of Sciences in History of Arts. Associate Professor of the Dramaturgy of Cinema Department at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Head of the screenwriting workshop at Irkutsk branch of VGIK. Curator of the courses "History of Cinema", "Contemporary Cinema" and "Practical Film Criticism" at Moscow Film School. Author of scripts for about 20 documentaries and five hundred television programs. Author of more than 40 theoretical articles on the theory and practice of screenwriting. Published in the magazines "Iskusstvo kino", "Seance", "Bulletin of VGIK", on the portals "Kinopoisk" and Arzamas. Host of the podcast “Close Up” (Kinopoisk).
