International Training and Pitching Flahertiana Forum 2018 is a training and pitching for documentary filmmakers from Eastern Partnership and Russia which takes place in Perm, Russia, from 15 to 20 September 2018.

Held during the 18th International Documentary Film Festival Flahertiana (September 14-20, Perm, Russia), Flahertiana Forum is a five-day project which stands for presenting an idea of documentary films in an early stage to a group of people interested to get involved as supporters/ coproducers of the documentaries made by filmmakers from the countries of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and Russia. At the same time, we launch a preparatory training for students and beginning filmmakers so that they could learn to pitch their projects. The best projects participating in the training will have an opportunity to be pitched to the experts during the Pitching. Participants of the training will also have a possibility to visit the lectures of the IDFF Flahertiana International Jury Members, to watch the documentaries from all over the world screened at the Festival venues. During the 3 days of Pitching, they may become participants or observers of a real pitching event.
