Flahertiana will host the long-awaited Perm premiere of the film about wildlife

Flahertiana will have a special screening of the film "Kamchatka Bears. Life Begins". The film tells about the first year of brown bears' life. For seven months, the LESFILM production team watched several predator families in the protected territory of Kamchatka - the world of volcanoes, rivers and free animals where a human is just an observer. The project was implemented by a team of wildlife connoisseurs. The ideological inspirer of the project was the famous photographer-naturalist Igor Shpilenok. The team was advised by the leading specialist in brown bears in Russia Valentin Pazhetnov.

“After Perm screening, we will go to present the film at the festival “People and Nature” in Irkutsk. In October, we plan to have the theatrical release and cover at least 30 cities across Russia,” says Irina Zhuravlyova sharing her plans for the future.

The film won the Grand Prix at the Ekofilm Festival in Poland and the Barents Ecology Film Festival in Petrozavodsk, and also became the best debut film at the NaturVision Filmfestival in Germany and the best film about nature according to the festivals in Italy and Armenia.

A special screening will be held on September 19 at 18:20 at the Premiere Cinema Center.
