Lena Karbe

studied film internationally (Ecole normale superieure, University of Oxford and University of Television and Film, Munich). She started her career in film acquisition and distribution before moving to production. After a 5-year-long tenure with one of the German leading production companies, she has founded her own production company Karbe Film, specializing on documentaries and international coproductions. Along her production activity, she is a curator of Chinese Film Festival in Munich, scriptwriter and film director. At the moment she is working on development of her fictional directorial debut.
