People who live in the cities rarely think, and most of the times don’t even realize that in their country’s forests live various wild animals: deer, roe deer, boars… Only the hunters, people who love the forest, are faced with its problems every day. The film tells about the pressing issue of fighting the African Swine Fever – a deadly disease that affects both domestic and wild pigs.

Iakov Umantsev
was born and raised in Krasnodar. Between 2008 and 2013 he studied cinematography at the Krasnodar State University of Culture and Arts. In 2013 he came to St. Petersburg to study at the Higher School of Directors and Scriptwriters at Lenfilm. At the moment, he studies in the workshop of nonfiction film.
