Writer Sergey Kaledin gained success and fame at the beginning of the perestroika period. His novels “The Humble Cemetery” and “Stroybat” have become true bestsellers, and were translated and published in many countries across the world. Yet, several years ago Sergey realized that he created everything he had in mind and writing just for the sake of writing is not exactly his path. So he decided to accept his friend Ludmila Ulitskaya’s advice, and go working at juvenile correctional facility...

Boris Karadzhev

was born in Perm. He graduated from Perm State University and VGIK. For many years he collaborated with various film studios and TV companies, took part in the creation of over 60 films. Between 2001-2006, he was the editor-in-chief of Russian Central Studio of Documentary Films (RCSDF). Since 2002, he is a teacher at the documentary film directing class at VGIK.
