LIBERATION: THE USER’S GUIDE (16+)

Russia, France, 2016, colour, 80 min.
Director: Alexander Kuznetsov
A film-observation of life in neuropsychiatric institutions of the Siberian province, where people are deprived of civil rights: they have no freedom, no work, no family. To win these rights from the formidable Russian institutional bureaucracy is a long and difficult path. Sometimes someone succeeds, and although achieving freedom is always a leap into the unknown, young “wrestlers” are full of inner fury, courage and perseverance.
