Steve James’ (Basketball Dreams) new film is created with co-author, journalist Alex Kotolovitz – his articles and books are dedicated to civil activists, who stopped the violence on the streets of Chicago. Three protagonists, among whom an energetic black-skinned Muslim woman, are members of one public organization called Violence Interrupters, which fights with street crime.
