In the March of 2000 a shop in Moscow was added to the European network of IKEA furniture shops. English-speaking Russian youth studied to work in the IKEA family. Many teachers arrived, mostly in couples. Two of “missionaries” are Manuela and Ulf. She was from the former GDR, and he was from FRG. The film narrates about love that had started from a kiss in the branch of IKEA in Berlin district Spandau and blossomed in Moscow. The launch day that was being prepared by Manuela and Ulf during the whole year attracted 37000 visitors and became a record for IKEA.
